J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez eBay

The interview process was very slow. In fact, by the end I realized that it was deliberately slow. They process took 2.5 months from the start.
I started by giving up a write-up to a Junior Recruiter. After passing through the hiring manager screening process, i was told about a phone interview scan with one of the team member. It went well and I was given an online project which was very job friendly. I had access to the elements a regular employee had and was told to solve the project. The time frame was 1 month and even though I completed earlier, it didn't matter. Then half a month after the submission, I am scheduled for an code review which is another half a month apart. The code review was also nice as per my feeling. I took time and answered the questions slowly.
Then after half a month, the position gets CANCELLED. They send rejects to all. Bye Bye
In the end it was a waste of time. However, the recruiter was the best part of the interview. I even sent him a profound respectful email which he happily accepted and cherished.
PS: The recruiter also got bored in the end. There was more of "Thank you for your patience" in the mails at the end.

I applied online, meet with a recruiter within a week, went through a leetcode round then the 5 hour final round consisting of system design, code refactoring, algorithm round and hiring manager. Honestly the most bipolar interview experience I've had, some of the interviewers you can tell are passionate about their job and the work, and on the other hand one interviewer used the interview as an extended lunch hour. focusing more on a subway footlong than me.

The recruiter informed me that there would be a 1-hour screening round before progressing to five additional 1-hour rounds. The interviewer arrived nearly 10 minutes late and spent the first 20 minutes reviewing my recent architectural contributions on a virtual whiteboard. With 30 minutes left, they shifted to coding, which was more complex than expected, involving a lengthy object-oriented code task that typically requires over an hour to solve. Poor time management and structure were evident, and I only learned in the final minutes that they’d assigned the wrong interviewer for my level. Additionally, despite encouraging an expedited interview, they initially scheduled me and then rescheduled to a later slot, reflecting unprofessional planning on eBay’s and/or the recruiter's part.
