I submitted an application online after searching for data science internships online. Within two weeks, a Zillow rep emailed me and asked to set up a phone screen. Several days after the phone screen, she asked for some code samples via email. Within 24 hours, we set up a phone interview with the hiring manager for whom I would be working. After speaking with him for about 30 minutes, I received a call several days later that I was offered the position. I had a few other interviews with other companies, and Zillow was willing to give me an extension on the acceptance deadline for this position.
