3-rounds with no technical aptitude test and/or project (which was odd for this type of a role).
1) Recruiter screening. Which was exactly what it was, a recruiter screening. 30-minutes
2) Hiring manager interview. Which was more of a cultural interview with next to no technical questions. 30-minutes
3) Panel interview with another manager (not associated with the team directly) and a peer (Principal Technical Support Engineer). Was a mixture of both cultural and technical questions in regards to the position. 1-hour
I was ghosted after making it through the final round which I heard is common practice at Zendesk (if you read other reviews online regarding their interview process) even though they said they would get back to me one way or the other.
