The interview process was very long. I started with an initial screening with the recruiter, who was very kind and professional. I then had two additional interviews with members of the Marketing team, both of whom were friendly and pleasant to speak with.
After that, I was informed that I had advanced to the final interview with the hiring manager and was asked to complete a take-home assignment, which I prepared and submitted. Unfortunately, after that point, communication stopped for several weeks. The final interview was never confirmed, and I did not receive any notice about a cancellation or need to reschedule.
Eventually, the recruiter contacted me to explain that the role was being closed due to last-minute budget constraints. While she handled the conversation kindly, the overall experience was disappointing, as I had been in the process for nearly three months and had successfully passed all interview stages. I would have appreciated clearer and more timely communication, especially given the time and effort invested.
