Interviewer could not comprehend that someone was looking to get into a company at the ground level and later transition into a software engineer position. "The typical path would be to promote to senior account manager, I just don't see how this fits into what you're looking to do". No matter how I positioned it, as soon as she knew my intent was to be with the company in a different capacity after getting hards on experience at the bottom it was as if I was talking to a brick wall. Before we got to that point, I believe I was very well qualified for the position I applied for and had every intention of learning about the company, the position, and getting all the front end experience before transitioning. Too bad.
