J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Walmart (San Bruno, CA) en déc. 2019
Entretien
The interview process was well structured, you knew exactly what they were looking for. The first interview was a phone call with someone from HR. The interviewer (was so kind) asked the normal interview questions (why you want to work here and about you questions). Got an email a week later asking to set up on site interview. They were super understanding of my busy finals schedule and let me reschedule once due to a family emergency.
The onsite interview was composed of 3 separate interviews followed with 2 current CS. The first round was with a CS 2 who asked why do you think you would be a good fit, why Walmart E-commerce, and typical about you questions. Second round interview was structured around a case study about comparing two different years of grille sales and following their prices and inventory levels. This was different from the battery case study everyone said I would have. Third interview was a follow up and spoke about the role in more depth. A week and a half later got a call from the recruiter I was exchanging emails with that I got the job.

The Interview process was only a couple of rounds. An initial recruiting call, followed by 2 interviews: 1) one with the hiring manager, and one with another member from the team. The process was very seamless, and not too formal.
It was a very standard interview process. Overall, the entire process was completed over a range of rounds that ranged from behavioral topics to casework. The whole process was conducted in a timely manner.
A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn, then I had a short and casual phone interview. They then made you download and take a phone “game” test thing which was very odd but I think was just there to see the effort you’d put in and look at your problem solving. If you pass this, they fly you out to San Bruno (San Francisco) for a day of interviews. They were actually pretty fun.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
First was behavioral, second was to test how much you had studied the website, and third was a case study.
Ex. Tell me what you think of this image of the Walmart homepage and what looks “off” to you or what you think you would change?
