J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez WM (Waterbury, CT)

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. I responded to her within an hour and didn’t receive a reply for several days. First red flag. My first interview was a short phone screening, where I was told the average salary for this role was 65-70k, fine, I can live on that to get the experience I was looking to gain. Then I had another interview with my potential boss and another leader. They hit me with very strange questions I’ve never been asked before. Last interview was with the director and it went very well.
A few days later I was called by the recruiter and was told I had gotten the job. I was excited, until… she said “so your starting salary will be based on your experience and skill level (I have many years of customer service and servant leader experience), and with that being said your salary will be 61k, oh and it’s “non-negotiable”… told them I needed time to think about it.
I emailed the recruiter a few days later and rejected the job because that salary was WAY off and they said it wasn’t flexible. Oh well. So that next morning at 7:30am I get a called from the recruiter saying they magically found 7k in the budget to bump me to 68k, cool. I say yes.
It’s been 7 days and they have yet to send a new offer letter while leaving the old one valid (I checked).
So overall, my experience with WM has not been spectacular. I felt led on. I really wanted to work for this company due to their values around sustainability. Just be ready to stand up for yourself if you interview and receive a job offer because THEY WILL LOWBALL YOU.
Good luck to anyone reading.

Question 1
What if your manager asked you to complete a task you know you couldn’t do with the time allotted?
The interview process involves an initial screening to assess qualifications, followed by a technical interview to evaluate skills. Candidates then participate in a behavioral interview to gauge cultural fit and problem-solving abilities. The final step is a panel interview with key stakeholders to finalize the decision and extend an offer.

I had only made it to the second interview. It started with the prescreening process after submitting an application, then second interview with the hiring manager. I did not receive a call back or notification of not being selected after the second interview.
