The initial interview/mock lesson was pretty quick and easy, but it ended up being misleading. The interviewer told me that I did an excellent job and that my experience as an ESL teacher was very obvious; she gave me just a few (very minor) things to correct before the next part of the interview, the certification mock lesson. But when I received the email regarding the feedback from my initial interview, the interviewer had scored me extremely low. I feel like I should also mention that in this email, they said that I didn't have an ESL certification even though I do and we discussed it in the interview for a few minutes... I had a similar experience with the certification mock lesson. The mentor teacher told me that I did an excellent job and that there were only a few, very small issues. For example - he told me that my use of props was good, but I could incorporate even more into my lesson. Overall, I understood what he was saying and told him I'd definitely use more props. I've been an ESL teacher for multiple years and have always received great evaluations and feedback, so I wasn't worried. When I received the email containing my certification mock class feedback, the first line was, "I bet this is the best news that you've heard all day!" which led me to believe that I had passed the certification level and was moving on to the next phase. But wait! It said right under that line that I was "invited" to another mock class. After a few more ultra positive paragraphs about redoing the mock class, the email ends with a survey about sharing my interview experience and the line, "Thank you for your interest in working with us, and we wish you the very best in all your future endeavors." Needless to say, I was very confused. I understand the company's desire to be positive and encouraging (they're hiring teachers - I get it), but their interview feedback needs to be A LOT more straightforward and clear.

just a quick demo lesson following the course materials, then a few logistical questions and talk about the program. Was quite quick and easy overall if you have teaching experience..

Pretty simple! There was a live and recorded portion where you "teach" a sample class. My interviewer was nice and helpful. Make sure your internet is good and use a wired connection

Easy and straight forward interview process. There is a demo teaching section. This was a while ago so it may have changed. The onboarding process was also easy. Again, this was a while ago, so it may have changed.
