Staffing agency called up and was highly efficient in follow ups to lead up to the interview . Huge numbers turned up for interview. Was made to wait for couple of hrs before called in . Very messy process. I was told will be contacted in a week to meet up with the director for a follow up .. Didnt hear from them again

Screening was done through phone interview and a video recording. Then it was a phone interview with the hiring director and manager. Overall experience was nerve wrecking but at the same time felt easy because it was all done without seeing anyone.

Applied online, and received notification to interview through HireVue.
It was a bit weird doing via webcam with no one on the other end, but I appreciate that they give you 3 chances to answer with prep time. Still, it can be a bit hard without getting that reinforcement from a recruiter.
However, I loved being able do it on my own time and that is value added for everyone involved.

A hiring manager reached out to me about an open position. She had come across my resume after a networking contact of mine passed my information along to an Optum executive. The hiring manager and I had a phone screen the week after her initial contact. The week after that, someone at Optum reached out to schedule an in person interview. The week after that, I interviewed with 4 Optum employees for a half hour each. Overall, the in person interview experience was a good one. Each interviewer was nice, willing to answer my questions and easy to converse with. As I had read in previous interview reviews on Glassdoor, no one asked difficult questions. They simply asked me to tell them about my background and previous experience. A couple of things led to a negative experience. 1) During at least two of the interviews, I had to prod the interviewers to ask more me more questions about myself. They had stopped for the “Do you have any questions for me?” portion of the interview with more than half of the interview left to go. They answered that they didn’t have any additional questions for me. 2) After the last interview, I showed myself out of the office, as the hiring manager wasn’t around to say goodbye. I followed up to thank each of the interviewers for whom I had contact information. I received no response to my email from the hiring manager, and she never reached out to offer a final decision. TIP: Print out your resumes. One out of 4 interviewers had my resume on hand, and the content of my resume was the subject of our entire interview.
