The process for this position was vastly different than the initial hiring I experienced with United because this was an internal move. Both times were very simple and smooth processes, but the internal move to my current position occurred in approximately 2 days. There was almost no work on my part, and the transition was seamless. For the initial entry (prior to this transfer), there were a few more bumps in terms of integration and expectations from the team I was on, but overall, it has been a very good experience.

There are always very pointed questions on the exact items that you have worked on. I suggest ensuring you have a good portfolio on how to respond to things like "Speak on one time that you handled a difficult technical situation in a way that most people would consider unusual and effective or 'outside the box'."

Interviewer called for a follow-up after one-way interview, refused to turn their camera on and downplayed my resume and ask questions meant to powertrip. Waste of time and energy and no respect for candidates

Applied on 02/04, video interview on 02/06, in person interview on 02/14. Process moved very quickly. HR rep kept in contact and was very helpful. I was given positive feedback regarding my interview by the hiring manager.
