walked into recruiting station, got the process started, did a medical screening about a week later, signed an enlistment, recruiter put in a nuke package, took nuke test due to high school grades, signed more waivers, spoke to nuke recruiter over the phone, mostly covering my waivers, no technical questions, called several weeks later that I was accepted into nuke program, had to wait nine months for spot to open in nuke school, after that it was just prep for boot camp

No interview. Take an exam. Pass a drug test. Good to go. I had to take the ASVAB, then I took an additional exam to qualify for nuke. It was all math.

you show up and sign a bunch of papers and then you have to duck walk and an old doctor looks your butt hole. they will sign up any one regardless of qualifications other than passing the electronic exam. no social skills required. they also take the cost of your uniform out of your first 3 paychecks.
