Entretien
You must apply online at USAJobs.gov and your resume and profile must align with the position description. There is a HR selection process which will put you on a list (if you are a good fit), which is presented to the hiring authority. From there you may be asked to have a panel interview. They ask you a set amount of questions (8-10) and each candidate is asked the exact same questions. The panel then rates each candidate and makes a recommendation to the hiring authority.

The office is busy, in which one is expected to be able to multi-task and respond quickly. For instance, you have multiple actions, deadlines and customers, and you’re called by an important customer who wants to know when their contract will be executed. How to you respond and prioritize in this situation?

The interview process included an online test and a phone call. The online test was easy and was focused on previous experience. The phone call took about 5 minutes. The phone interview seemed to be focused on fit.

The interview process was conducted via panel over the phone. It was very impersonal, and brief. No feedback was given. They asked a question, muted. Waited for me to answer, then asked another question, and muted. It definitely felt like they were going through the motions, and not interested at all.

Entretien
The interview is only 30 mins max. The panel was straight to the point. It was very dry and cut throat. They asked me 10 questions. As a civilian, it would’ve been nice if the panel would have described the job and requirements. Also make the candidates feel comfortable. They do send questions in advance.
