There isn’t an interview. You do not do interviews for the Military, unless it is for an internal position. The initial process consists of a physical test, background check, and enlistment packet. It is extremely easy to enlist into the US ARMY. Have a pulse? You’re in.

I was contacted by a recruiter. The whole process went very fast once I said yes. If you get lucky you will get an honest recruiter whos not in it for the money and doesn't lie to you like I did. I was briefed on what the Bonuses were and different ways I could gain rank before I shipped off to Basic Training. The recruiters job is just that to get you to put your name on the dotted line nothing more. ANYTHING YOU WANT OUT OF YOUR MILITARY CAREER MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING. I was not to sure on what the schools were when I signed up but because of my high ASVAP score I was asked if I wanted Airborne and Ranger schools added. I excepted and I'm glad I did. Get what you want from the Army and remember its not an easy job.

Question 1
Choosing my MOS what the hardest part of the process. I had high scores so my options were open and my recruiter didn't know much outside of infantry. I choose 13 F (which I honestly thought was a fire fighter) and because of the schools I went into I was attached to Infantry units. Best job Ive ever had my color is red but I still bleed blue.
