J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Two Sigma en févr. 2023
Entretien
Applied online and heard back about 2 weeks later. Did a phone screen with the recruiter/RC where she scheduled the next round while on the phone. The next round was 45 minutes with the hiring manager - the interviewer switched to a different person the day before the call. Normal behavioral interview otherwise. Didn't hear back for weeks, so I emailed the recruiter and a week later she said they'd get back to me by the end of the week. They completely ghosted and I never heard anything again. The role is still listed online. I wouldn't want to work somewhere where they don't have the decency to tell me I'm rejected after 2 interviews.

Question 1
Would you be ok with the role being largely administrative in nature

I went through a total of four interview rounds (one screening + multiple interview rounds), all conducted virtually. I appreciate that the process is fully online, which makes scheduling more flexible.
That said, the process felt very long for an HR operations/administrative-focused role. The last two interview rounds were each scheduled as two-hour interview blocks, which felt unnecessary for a role that is primarily operational and administrative in nature. A more streamlined process (or shorter final rounds) would have felt more appropriate and respectful of candidates’ time.
Some scenario questions also seemed to expect candidates to already know Two Sigma’s internal processes. For example, I was asked how I’d handle bringing a new hire into the building, and when I answered based on my experience, I was told that’s not how they do it. Since candidates don’t work there yet, it would help to either explain their process first or ask the question in a way that tests judgment and approach rather than company-specific steps.
Overall, the team was professional, but I think the interview process could be better aligned with the level of the role.
Advice to management: Shorten or consolidate later-stage interviews for operational/admin roles, and provide more context for scenario questions so candidates can answer fairly.
Casual interview, great people that answered questions well The process itself was unorganized and not communicated clearly. I had two interviews lined up and then after my first one, the second one was cancelled. Also had to complete an assessment that I wasn't aware of beforehand.
