I applied online and was immediately contacted via email by the head recruiter. We set up a time to talk about the company and position and it was very informative. I actually expressed that I may have applied for the wrong position as my background fits more closely to 3 other jobs they had, but was assured that this is the one I should be going for. Ok! About a week later I had my 4 hour in person interview. I was blown away by the building and everything that the company does for its employees. Everyone I met with was very professional but easy to get along with.
I met with 4 people, same personality/experience questions in each round, and nothing out of the ordinary was asked. No difficult questions etc. Every single person I met with told me that my background is exactly what they needed, I expressed that in this position, I may be working with clients that I have worked with in the past which would be great. The hiring manager even went on to tell me how my personality is what they need in this position and that my background is spot on. I felt like my meetings with everyone went almost too well to be true.
I was right. Weeks have gone by and nothing. I emailed the recruiter a couple of times and was finally told that they brought in someone else for a 2nd interview but will let me know if that changes. Overall, the interview was pretty straightforward but very disappointing. If you have everything they are looking for and are not invited back, then a little feedback would be great.
