J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Travelers en sept. 2015

      Entretien

After applying online, I received an email from a recruiter in HQ with a few basic questions. After a brief phone call, I was told it was up to the hiring location whether to continue with the interview process. I did receive a phone call asking me to come in the next week for the assessment procedure, and interview if I passed the assessment. Before the interview, I was to complete an online application on their website . The assessment consisted of several parts: Answering a question by writing in Word, some math multiple choice questions (several using tables), proofing a document for errors, and timed data entry (that also established error rate). After the assessment, you were pulled out individually to find out if you progressed to the next level. 3 out the 4 people in my group did proceed. A tour of the facility was given, and then we were given individual interviews. My interview was with 2 current employees. The questions followed the "STAR" format - situation, action you took, and the result. The questions were pretty specific. After this, you took a few simulated phone calls from customers using their computer system. We were told training would be in about a month. After about 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I followed up with the recruiter, was told the positions had been filled, that basically I was over-qualified, and to look for other opportunities as they were posted! I knew I was over-qualified, but do not have insurance experience. I later applied for another position, but that position and others all required insurance experience! So although I thought the process was well-run, I only found out that I did not get the job by my own initiative! Very unprofessional.
