There are a number of steps in TQL's interview process: -initial phone screening; -phone interview with recruiter; -in person shadowing with a trainee and an experienced account executive followed by 2nd phone interview with recruiter; -assessments in math, geography and company knowledge followed by interview with sales manager I would recommend that anyone interviewing with TQL not be afraid to ask the difficult questions early on. The hours expected are considerably higher than advertised and there is no time off provided for the first 6 months. The size of the sales force and volume of account executives all going after the same business is alarming and after you have your own accounts you will be responsible for that freight 24/7. None of this is meant as a critique but you should know what you are getting yourself into, especially of you are more than a few years out of college and/or have a family or commitments outside of work.

Mostly standard interview questions (tell me about a time you faced a challenging situation and how you'd handle it differently, tell me about your greatest success at your last position, why are you interested in this job, etc) My recruiter was extremely personable and professional however she did ask me about where else I was interviewing and how many offers I was awaiting so be forewarned as these may be common questions they ask of all candidates.

The process was smooth, and the staff was friendly. There were about 3-4 rounds of calls and in-person interviews. The first in-person is a shadow of 2 current employees and an interview. The second is a knowledge test and an interview with the hiring manager.

The interview process was thorough and smooth. The phone interview to the in person interviews are informative and give good insight into what it is like to work there. Overall the interview process at TQL is solid.
