The process was very smooth and thorough. The HR department was very prompt in responding to inquiries. When an offer is made, the HR must obtain approval from the work counsel (which is the union) this can last for up to a week. Also, the salary is based on IG metall tariff so it might help to look it up before negotiating the salary.
I attended the interview process as part of a campus drive at a college in Bengaluru. Multiple colleges came as part of the drive for multiple disciplines. This was after I cleared a virtual Online Assessment which was a coding round. We were supposed to have 2 rounds of interviews and 1 hr round, but due to a large number of candidates, only 1 interview and 1 hr was conducted. Only those who qualified for the technical interview went through to HR. I was rejected at HR round.

It was very long and tiring and ill managed because nothing was done with the help of computers. Everything was done on papwe which is ironical for a tech company.
