      Entretien pour Brand Manager

      15 août 2023
      Candidat à l'entretien anonyme
      Irvine, CA
      Aucune offre
      Expérience négative
      Entretien facile

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Taco Bell (Irvine, CA) en juill. 2023

      Entretien

I scheduled a phone screen with the recruiter from Taco Bell. Very conversational interview with no questions asked other than “tell me about your last professional experience”. They were very upbeat and friendly, I was told why they were hiring and what the role would entail, along with all the steps of the hiring process. Then the recruiter name dropped 6 names of their leadership team, and continued to name drop a handful of others I’d be potentially working with. I was told she would schedule my next 30 minute interview with the hiring manager. Then I was given a full rundown of professional experiences of each individual she name dropped, along with letting me know she would send me the job description once more and even offered to help me prepare for my interview with the hiring manager since she liked me and wanted to see me succeed. I had asked a few questions and then she asked if there was anything else I’d like for her to give to the hiring manager about my background. In which I provided a clear answer. I was told she would reach out to me within 4-5 days of my phone screen. I followed up on the Monday after my Friday interview to thank her for her time and express my continued interest. I was ghosted and never received any further communication.

Applied through a recruiter and had a 30 minute call with the hiring manager as part of the first stage. Second stage was a task which was to be completed in an hour then presented back to the hiring manager and another colleague on the same day. Despite the content of the task, I’m still confused why it had to be completed in an hour and data points were missing to finish the task well. Was not offered the job as some of my answer to questions in final interview were ‘vague’ - when I asked for clarification and further examples here I was met with no response. A little ironic.
