I turned in a paper application and asked the assistant manager when I would be able to speak with the hiring manager. I was told to call between 2-4 on a weekday. I called twice and was told the manager was too busy to come to the phone. On my third call, I got her. I quickly mentioned I turned in my application, had restaurant exp and could start ASAP. I was asked to meet with the manager at 9 am on a monday. I came in dressed neatly, but not in business attire- an oxford shirt, jeans, conservative heels. I was on time, but the manager made me wait almost 15 minutes. She offered me a soda and I declined. Then we sat down the restaurant and she started asking questions.
