4 days after I applied online, I had a 20-30 minute screening call with a recruiter. It was easy, consisting of a walk through of your background and experience. 5 days later, I had another 20-30 minute call with the hiring manager. This was similar to the screening call. 6 days later, I attended a lengthy in-person interview at the Google-like Irvine HQ. It was a 3-hour long interview with six 30-minute meetings with various directors and managers. It wasn't difficult. Most of the interviewers were improvising or didn't have anything prepared at all. This is apparently called a "conversational"-style interview. 23 days after I applied online, I got a call from the recruiter telling me that I didn't get the position. Overall, it wasn't a difficult interview and it was a mediocre experience. I guess one good to come out of the experience was that I got a gift card out of it.

They ghosted me in the Zoom room. They set up an interview with me. On the day before our set interview, the HR manager sent me an email using the wrong name, not misspelling the name but using the wrong name entirely, and told me she was having a hard time opening Zoom. I wrote back to let her know that she might have sent me the email by mistake and the next day she never showed to our meeting and never emailed me again.

Casual interview. Don't be tricked. Take it seriously. Know you're resume thoroughly. Be confident and follow up well.
They want technical answers but in a conversational flow. Keep it natural but stay focused.

I'm writing this because this happened to me twice in a 5 year span. A gentlemen, "TA" from HR called and left a voice mail. I call back once a day for 5 days in a row and again every other for the following 2 weeks after. No reply. He did this both times. I can only imagine the amount of talent that is getting overlooked or never goes on the desks of marketing leaders. The CONSISTENT experience is why im leaving this review. by far the worse experience.
