Applied in January and didn’t hear back until a month later. Went through a 30 minute phone interview with internal recruiter. The internal recruiter mentioned she has been with the company for 7 years but couldn’t give a clear answer about what she likes about the company and what the company culture is like (RED FLAG). She asked basic questions like greatest weakness and strengths, why do you wanna work here, and why should we hire you. The whole thing felt monotonous. During the whole call, recruiter made me feel like she did not want to have this conversation at all. Recruiter asked for my salary expectations and I asked if she could share the budget for the role and she said NO. So I provided her with my range. Then she turned around and said “okay now I can share some info about the budget with you” (MAJOR RED FLAG). She mentioned that my lower range is within budget but not the upper range. Why not just share the budget in the first place???

Applied online. Received a call within 2 weeks. Met with HR director and Accounting Manager. Very relaxed setting with questions in regards to your past experiences. After interview manager gave me a tour and met people in the department
