J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Stitch Fix (Dallas, TX) en mai 2021
Entretien
The initial interview was over the phone. It followed a virtual interview with two current CX Leads. They asked scenario-based interview questions. I'm usually very good at interviews, but the questions they were asking had multiple ways of answering and I felt like I didn't understand what they were really looking for.
Entretien
Interview process is extremely long and consists of loads of waiting. I did a pre-interview with a recruiter, second interview with two high level managers, and third interview with two other high level managers. Recruiter was always timely with communication but when it came down to the third interview it became confusing (mostly because of provided case study instructions). They give you a packet of scenarios that you are supposed to read and come back with questions regarding the scenarios, specifically stated in the email that is sent with the interview request and to not come with solutions to those issues. There is an obvious disconnect with the managers who are interviewing because it was exactly the opposite what they wanted than what the interview instructions stated. By the end of the interview time slot the two managers were rushed, presumably because they have full schedules, and were not sure when I would hear back results. In this interview it was clear no previous managers had communicated about my previous interview. I reached out to the recruiter two weeks after my interview regarding a status update but she never responded. Never. Two days after reaching out I received a cookie cutter generic response thanking me for my time but they decided to go with someone else. This is extremely unprofessional. If you are going to waste 6 weeks of a candidate’s time going through a rigorous application process let it be for an executive position, not a lead. And if you know you aren’t moving forward with a candidate, let them know as soon as possible. To go through so many steps and then receive a generic “thanks but no thanks” email 2 weeks later is very bad taste. Stitch fix has so many open positions right now but may not be struggling as much so they can still be picky in their hires. It was such a shame to be treated so well and then kicked to the side towards the end. For their treatment I would not recommend Stitch Fix to someone looking for a job.
