J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus de 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Stitch Fix (San Francisco, CA) en déc. 2017

      Entretien

Interview process was on the longer side, but allowed me to speak with several future colleagues and learn so much about the company and its culture in advance. Process included about 10 30-minute video/phone interviews, one writing sample, and one on-site project/interview.

4 phone/video interviews, 1 writing sample, 1 mock report, 1 in person 45 min presentation over 2+ months Just want to preface that I am not writing a negative review because I didn't get the job. I've certainly not gotten jobs before, but this is the first review I've written. Really felt disappointed and strung along here. My point of contact was the hiring manager, which was odd because I've almost always dealt with recruiters. This team needed the support of a recruiter. The process was lengthy and I didn't feel like there was value in every step. The phone interviews were decent, although when I spoke with the director, she was quite unprepared and I don't think really cared, she was just going through the motions. I regularly had to follow up, sometimes it took 3 weeks and multiple follow up emails with "am I still being considered" type of questions for me to hear that I was moving to the next step. Additionally, a couple of times my interviews were rescheduled and at least one time the calendar invite I received didn't match the time and date discussed in the email exchange. All these little things just added up to an unprofessional and disorganized impression. Most of all I was disappointed with how it all ended. After having taken a vacation day to go to the SF office, spent 12 hours prepping for this presentation, and having done 4 other interviews, I received an generic, canned 3 line rejection email. Impersonal and generic. I've never gone that far in an interview process and not received a phone call thanking me and often times giving me a little feedback regarding the decision. Stitch Fix promotes a "bright, kind, and goal-oriented" culture and the kindness was unfortunately lacking from my experience. In general, there was little respect for my time and schedule. Really too bad because I was a big fan. I wanted to not believe what I was reading on Glassdoor, but it seems this is a bit of a trend in their interviewing process.
