I began an application but never actually finished it when Staples called the next day to schedule an interview. The interview was very awkward. I sat in the section where they sell the chairs and had to wait about ten minutes before anyone came back for me. The man and woman who interviewed me did not give me their titles, so I'm not sure if they were managers or not. The interview lasted about five minutes. I explained to them that I had no customer service experience and that I was eager and excited to learn with Staples. The next question I was asked was about my customer service experience. The man who interviewed me was trying to make jokes at my expense but I was so nervous that it just made me feel uncomfortable. There were long awkward pauses during the interview because the guy wanted to hear the song that was playing in the background. I tried asking questions about how shifts work but they only give vague non-answers. They told me that they had a lot of other people to interview and might call to set up a second interview, but gave no specific time frame. Left the interview feeling really bad and feeling like I will not be hearing from them again.

when i arrived there, the manager was very nice and welcoming and it went very smoothly,i arrived on time and i was early to the interview.He also asked me questions like my availability, my schooling, what made me interested in working with staples and what i hope to achieve in the long run
