Entretien
The interview process consisted of several round of conversational questions asking about my experience and how i would handle various situations that might arise with clients. A couple of things stood out. First, the people at Slalom are very friendly, considerate, outgoing individuals that are looking for people with that same disposition. I have worked with numerous consultants with the big management consulting firms, and the consultants and leadership at Slalom are friendlier and more down to earth. The second thing that I noticed is that even if they are interested in you, they tend to wait to staff you until they have a position with a client for you to fill. So after five or six rounds of formal and informal interviews, I was given a tentative offer letter, but it took about another three months before I was finally brought on board. Had I not of already been employed this would have been a very frustrating experience, but as I understood the reason behind this, I was not worried about it, I only asked that I be given enough notice of a start date that I could let my current employer have the same consideration.

Making a transition from industry (where I had done internal consulting) to a management consulting company, I was asked a lot of questions asking me to explain how and why I would make a good consultant. So if this is your situation, be ready to address this, because it will be asked.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.

Entretien
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
