Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with Slalom and their recruiting division. After numerous positive informational interviews with those at Slalom Boston (including principals and a director), I was asked to apply to the associate consultant position. I received an internal referral, and sadly the process went downhill from there. The recruiter took an extended amount of time to reach out, and was always very bad about communicating. A number of times I had to reach out two to three times before receiving a reply. She also said she would get back to me within a set time period, but never did so on more than one occasion. I know Slalom is a great place to work, and I wish I had the opportunity to move forward. However, I am also glad to say that I will never have to be in touch with the recruiter again.
