The interview process at Slalom was a great experience for me because I was excited to learn more about the company and already had a job so wasn't too concerned about whether I was hired or not. The process included one casual coffee-shop conversation with a recruiter which was helpful because it gave a chance to learn more about the company and if it's even something that sounds like a good fit. A couple of weeks later I interviewed with one of the healthcare team leaders, which is the team I was applying to join. That conversation lasted like 40 minutes and was also an interesting and kind of fun conversation since I could learn more about the specific work I might be doing. A couple of weeks later I met with three more people from leadership in three consecutive one on one interviews that lasted a total of 2.5 hours or so. The questions were really about determining personality and "culture fit", a few project management-specific questions, and was an opportunity for me to learn more about management style, etc. Everyone was very easy to talk to, seemed very serious about their work but really enjoy what they do, and I appreciated the effort the team went through to make sure candidates will succeed once they are at Slalom. My interviews happened to be during the summer and it took a while after the interviews to hear whether I would get an offer. The whole process between submitting a resume and getting an offer was something like 4 months.
