4 step zoom interview. First step was about pay etc then onto a 2nd step which was basic competency and then the 3rd step which was an hour showing you could do the job.
The 'Senior Product Owner' at Sia Partners isn't a product owner roll it is a sales role. It should really be called 'Technical Business Development Consultant'. I am a technical product owner I got to the 3rd stage of the interview process. I failed because I couldn't show a track history in business development and my sales process. They wanted to see what software etc I used for sales and how I generated leads.
I feel as though they wasted my time.
Why would a programmer want a sales job?

Appeared to be a 4 stage process. 1 phone call and then a series of Teams interviews.
Just for context I am a product owner with over 15 years worth of experience. I built out 2 of Amazons leading cloud modules, several of BlackRocks platforms and have worked for Bloomberg.
Sia Partners should not be advertising this as a 'Product Owner' role as it isn't. My final interview was with 2 guys who were technical sales type guys. They had very limited superficial tech knowledge. Instead of being questioned about how I write out user stories and set up sprints etc I was questioned about my business development skills and how I generate leads for consultancy work. I have zero experience in this field so I failed. This was after just over 2 months worth of emails and interviews. If you are a product owner I would swerve Sia.
