I’m a relatively senior level candidate coming from a fast-paced background. The interview process was standard, but I did not hear back from the company on how my final round went. While it’s understood that they won’t be moving ahead with candidature it speaks volumes about the professional work ethics, personality and character of the people (both in HR and in business).
Based on my experience- I won’t accept an offer even if I’m extended one. A little bit disgusting to be honest.
Not to mention, that the technical skills that they discussed during the interview were disparate from what was mentioned in the job profile. The hiring manager seems to not have had a lot of experience in hiring in the first place. Based on this experience I question the culture of that team for ambitious individuals with an attitude to accomplish goals

Question 1
How would you drive this car if I gave you the key? (Never heard a more generic question).
Screen by HR . Interviewed by the hiring manager . Interviewed on a single day where I gave a journal club, followed by individual interviews. One person was a no-show. Great follow-up with HR and a hiring manager.

Looks like they have good system, but do not follow it. Leaving an applicant on the call waiting while I received application not selected to move forward email shows how bad they are in their process.
