I experienced a long, drawn out, tedious, amateurish phone screen, where it was clear very early on that they couldn’t meet my salary expectations and that this probably wasn’t the right fit as I was overqualified. Yet the person literally kept trying to interrogate me, which amused me to some degree. My mistake was being too nice and not just ending the call earlier. Waste of everyone’s time.
