I guess you could say it was a two part process. The first contact after submitting my application was a quick phone call to confirm some information, then I had a video interview with an board interview where I answered questions about the subject matter, my experience and the work environment. I was then invited to ask any questions I might have, which I did. I would also point out that the board was very accommodating because I missed my original scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances and were willing to reschedule me.
