I was contacted by a recruiter. First screen was fine. Didn't have salary range info...red flag...second screen the recruiter was rude and still refused to give me the recruiting range or salary range. Huge red flag folks. I finally gave her an inflated range and she hit me with the oh well thats way out of our range and is beyond yours with your experience. Don't let anyone tell you your worth. Recruiters have a clear recruiting range especially when dealing with compensation professionals. It saves everyone time.
