I applied some time in October, I did not get a reply until November. I had a phone interview with the recruiter that went well that she passed me along to the hiring manager. I had a great interview that they said they were going to pass me along to the next step. Then a week goes by with no communication as to what the next steps are. I reach out and they give me a test to do. It was a powerpoint project where you merchandise product off their site. I completed the project and sent it in early but I did not hear anything for a week and a half till I reached out again. They said they are going with another candidate. They were clearly going to ghost me if I hadn't reached out. It was a long process of waiting around and interviewing, just to be rejected without an explanation.
