Biosafety Research Scientist position. After two weeks having applied online, I received an email from the HR on a Tuesday afternoon. The interview was on Friday! Skype interview with a panel of three. The interview was basically a list of 10 predefined questions with some subquestions, with the majority of them focusing on the knowledge aspect rather than behavioural situations. Some of them felt quite basic to the point that somebody at the level of being shortlisted might not have expected or prepared for them. It didn't feel like a natural discussion as the panel was probably keeping score besides notes/ comments of the answers and had to go through the list. I didn't receive a feedback or any explanation besides the typical HR rejection email although I sent an email to the head of the panel and group leader.
