From my very first interaction with Protiviti at my college's Career Fair, I could tell this was a great company. Each recruiter and consultant I spoke with was so down to earth and personable; it was a huge difference compared to Big 4 companies I was interviewing with also. After submitting my resume and chatting with recruiters at the Career Fair, I was invited to a networking-like event to get to know some of the consultants in the office where I was interviewing for, followed by first-round interviews the next morning on my school's campus. The interview was broken down into two, 30-minute interviews, both one-on-one with consultants. The first was a case-study, in which we were given information on the night before. Never having done a case before, I felt as though it was more conversational and flowed well; my interviewer also helped guide me if I got stuck. The next interview was purely behavioral, asking several "tell me a time when..." questions. After answering the set questions, I got a chance to get to know each interviewer and talk on a more personal level, which was great. I was notified about a week later that I was invited to an office visit. Again the night before the office visit, those who were interviewing and current consultants with Protiviti went out for dinner and got a chance to talk on a much more personal level. The next day, the office visit consisted of presentations from Protiviti employees, a group activity where the interviewees gave a pitch at the end, and 2 more one-on-one interviews with managers. The interviews with the managers were mostly about getting to know you and see if you were a good fit with the company/office. This interview process was the most enjoyable I have ever experienced. Protiviti made such an effort to make me feel comfortable and welcome in every interview setting. It felt as though my interviewers really wanted to get to know me as a person. Each person I spoke with said that it is the people of Protiviti that make it such a fantastic place to work, and I can truly attest to that.
