Applied for the role initially and received my invitation to interview for round 1 nearly two months later. I scheduled the first interview and got ghosted because no one decided to show up. I emailed the recruiter asking to reschedule, they apologized saying “an emergency happened”, and rescheduled me for the following week.
The first round was mostly behavioral, a couple minor case study type questions that were meant to observe how you think. It was not super intensive, I passed and received a second round interview. Once again, I scheduled it and was ghosted again, being told that an emergency came up. I rescheduled for the following week.
The second round interview was half analytical/decomp and half learning/coding. The decomp problem was pretty difficult, they say they do not judge you on SQL knowledge but make sure you know as much SQL syntax and theory as possible. I answered it to the best of my ability, I feel decently well.
The coding question they taught a made-up language that was basically SQL. Just practice Leetcode or other problem-solving tools to improve your SQL knowledge, that’s the best way to go about it.
I was rejected after the second round, I do think it was a fair rejection and I didn’t perform super well in the coding interview. But super unprofessional company overall and the ghosting process was really frustrating as I took time off work to interview.

Started with a quick review of my recent experiences and behavioral questions, and then jumped into a SQL interview. It was mostly a large code file which had a lot of bugs in it that had to be fixed.

There were 3 stages:
1. Chat with a currently deployment strategist (20 min)
2. Onsite interview: consisted of a 45 minute technical comprehension portion and a 45 minute decomposition portion
3. Interview with hiring manager (30-60 min)
After passing a round, they were very quick to get back to me, usually same day or end of the next business day.

Initial screening call with a current Palantir employee -> onsite interview -> hiring manager interview.
Overall very friendly and great. But it was a bit chaotic and unstructured though. The onsite interview had 30 people in one room for almost 4 hours. And the interview portion was only an hour of it. If you’re out of college this is exciting and great experience, but as something with work experience, it was frustrating taking PTO to go in office to have it be a college onboarding day
