      J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Palantir Technologies (New York, NY) en mars 2016

      Entretien

      Applied through a referral process. Took about a week from the referral to first phone call. First phone call was from a recruiter, and we walked through my resume, why I wanted to work at Palantir, and ended with a brainteaser. Second phone call was with a deployment strategist, who asked standard behavioral questions (listed below). Third interview was on-site in New York, NY, and consisted of three interviews, two behavioral and one 'case based.' It was here that I was told I was not a good fit for the company. At least for the on-site interviews, focus was really on the "why" vice the experience. As in, you are dealing with a teammate that is not pulling their weight, how would you deal with that? Why would you go about it that way?

      Strengths/ weakness, what is your greatest accomplishment, tell me about something that other smart people disagree with you on and why. What is a broken process at your current job and what would you do to fix it? What do you think you could do to improve at Palantir? One of the of the on-site interviews focused on team interactions, how to manage conflict, deal with difficult people, when were you in a crisis and how did you act? How did you lead? How do you handle feedback, give it, and how would you react to negative feedback? How would you instruct a peer and mentor them? Tell me about a thankless job that you had? Who do you think are Palantir competitors? Case base question was fun, company X wants to share data with 3rd party vendors, what would they share and how would they do this (with an aim for increasing revenue).

      Started with a quick review of my recent experiences and behavioral questions, and then jumped into a SQL interview. It was mostly a large code file which had a lot of bugs in it that had to be fixed.

      Initial screening call with a current Palantir employee -> onsite interview -> hiring manager interview. Overall very friendly and great. But it was a bit chaotic and unstructured though. The onsite interview had 30 people in one room for almost 4 hours. And the interview portion was only an hour of it. If you’re out of college this is exciting and great experience, but as something with work experience, it was frustrating taking PTO to go in office to have it be a college onboarding day
