J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Palantir Technologies

A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn - so far, so good. Our exchange was professional and we had a quick phone chat to review the position. Then, an assistant worked with me to schedule an interview and this is when the trouble started. Firstly, the assistant referred to the wrong recruiter when emailing me. If you're going to copy/paste a generic email, at least remember to change the name - strike one.
She scheduled me for an interview with a current project manager. Seems straightforward enough. After confirming, she asked to change it to a different person at a different time - okay, I understand that things happen. I was very flexible and agreed.
Then, the interviewer didn't call - strike two. I waited 45 minutes by the phone, in anticipation. Very unprofessional - apparently he was on site and unable to notify anyone of his change of plans. What kind of project manager fails to show up for a scheduled meeting without any notice? I hope they have better practices with their customers but from my experience, internal company culture is indicative of broader trends. You have to ask yourself during the interview process: do you want these people as your co-workers?
After emailing the coordinator, we were able to reschedule for the third time. The interviewer finally called, without any mention or apology for having skipped our call a few days prior - strike three. At this point, I was not impressed by the company and made a comment about how important it is to stay organized, keep promises to customers and coworkers - the fundamentals of strong project management. Needless to say, I got a rejection email shortly after.

Bad experience. The process was unprofessional and dragged out. The recruiter seemed to have no sense of what the role was. They have a competly different title and description for the role internally, and I was told by an interviewer himself that the projects are often boring, contain a lot of admin work and no travel.
