I talked to a recruiter at a career fair on campus, and they called me later the same day to tell me that they would like to interview me. I scheduled an interview for 2 days later, then interviewed with an HR guy who asked largely behavioral questions. I was then invited to an Internship Event in Houston by phone a few weeks later, where there were about twenty other potential interns. OxyChem paid for the flight and hotel. There was a dinner to socialize and meet about forty employees, and then the next day we toured two of the Houston plants, interviewed with a couple employees, and then made a small presentation about ourselves to the whole group, which included the other potential interns and about twenty employees. Everyone that I met was genuinely friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. I really enjoyed meeting the people, and I think I would have enjoyed working there.
