The first in-person or virtual interview may involve a discussion with a hiring manager or a senior member of the team. During this interview, you could be asked about your background, relevant skills, experience, and your understanding of the financial services industry. They might also inquire about your motivations for joining New York Life. If you pass the initial interview, you might be invited for additional rounds of interviews. These could include interviews with different team members, managers, or other stakeholders. The focus might shift towards assessing your fit within the company culture, your sales and communication skills, and your ability to build client.

A personality assessment was emailed to be completed before the first interview. Next was the initial screening Zoom call with manager discussing role. After that interview I was invited to a career opportunity group zoom interview. Then after that group zoom you meet back with the original hiring manager for the final interview and project presentation with the initial manager.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Do you prefer working on a team or as an individual?
Was brief, mostly looking for a personality that matches the job and more so with your actual manager that you will be working with and not the entire company. Had about 3 different interviews and did some exercises that would show a little bit more about who I was and what kind of personal - not work related - experiences I had.

There isn’t much of an interview for this position. It’s honestly more of an opportunity for them to get you excited to join. There’s a reason 90% of new agents do not make it through their first year. It certainly isn’t undoable from my limited research but it feels very MLM in their organization.
