After the submission, a recruiter sent an email to ask about your availability for a phone interview. Once you pass this round, your application will hand over to the hiring manager(s), and they will decide if they want to have (real) interviews.

Netflix outsourced the initial recruiter screen to a recruiting consulting company and the recruiter was extremely rude and blunt. They talked to me for 5 minutes about how the times I provided on the resume did not match up to when I was working at my previous company even though I had this information correctly listed. I asked if they wanted me to send an updated resume in case and they shut me down and said the don't care and Netflix will find out I'm lying when they do the background check so I shouldn't lie about my working dates and did not even let me talk about how they are mistaken. The recruiter was also extremely rude about my unemployment and questioned me on what I was doing currently in a rude tone. Disappointed in the interview and recruiter quality.
