I applied online and a month later the hiring manager called me to schedule an interview. I was taken by surprised because most people would shoot an email first. I went in for an in person interview and the hiring manager was very kind and friendly. Then I was offer a second interview a week later with a faculty member. She was also very friendly and welcoming. I thought both interview went well, but radio silence since the last interview. I wish NYU would at least let their candidates know they are no longer in the running after having two in-person interview.

I have been called for two different assistant director positions I applied for. Both times the person on the phone told me the salary is lower than the range posted.
