Very straight forward. Not too difficult. The usual interview questions for customer service. It is a nice company and they offer benefits. People are diverse and seem friendly enough. The pay was not enough for me to accept- but that could just be retail.

I applied online, sent in my resume, with volunteer experience, because i do not have work experience, and sent in some references and finished the personality test and in two days was offered an interview. I scheduled it a week from the time so i could prepare and this site was a really good source, so yes it is a good idea to rehearse a lot what you are going to say and have an idea what the questions are so youll feel more confindent and not say umm or stay blank. I arrived at the interview exactly ten minutes early, i wore Macys attire a nice black out fit hair pulled back and minimul jewlery. I was greeted in and i advice that as you walk in shake the interviewers hand and introduce yourself smile. After that we sat down and she asked my right off the batt why Macys? Give me an example when you were part of a team. Give me an example of when you persuaded someone in a team. Here at macys many of our associates change departmentsTell me a time when you had to work in a place where you constatntly faced change? and other questions. She also asked me questions based on the test i took online when i applied for the position. but they were just two question very simple but they are different for everyone based on how you answered. At the end she asked if i had any question and people please have intelligent questions in mind to show your interest at least three. After that i shook her hand again and we said our goodbyes. Overall the lady was really nice and it was a good experience. i got a call an hour after the interview from the same lady saying she had an opening and i start training in november.So just be confident, be focused on what she is saying to give your best answer and prepare, be yourself. No one wants a phony and also be very positive to project the best in you.
