I applied on line, I was called with in a week, I had a phone interview with an lpd" the questions were simple, "tell me about your self, why Macy's?, what if scenarios, I have a back round in private security so I feel complelty comfortable with these questions but this was my first "traditional no guard card required position, after the call I was invited to have a interview with the loss prevention manager, same questions were asked, and about 2 days nlater I was called by the LPM and was offered the job. it was a great time working there, its what I call traditional LP, your under cover, you work a team, in a good sized room with cameras arresting shop lifters and at times arresting staff members.

Interview was very easy just common questions a normal job would ask. They scheduled me for a 2nd interview so I believe that was a good thing to look out for if you're being considered by management for a position in loss Prevention.

I came in to the store asked to speak to the loss prevention head, who sat me down to fill out an application online, the next day I got an email to set up a phone interview and when she called she was 5 minutes late and when I called her right back as soon as she called me she said she had to reschedule it not even a minute after she called me. So the next day she called she asked me a few questions, she then said she would be intuch with me, a week and a half go by and I get an email saying my Availability didn't meet there needs ? She told me they needed full time and I applied for full time.

The hiring manager was very unorganized and failed to follow-up on our phone interview. It got rescheduled three times to advise me she couldn't make it. Then the last time I never got a phone call.
