I interviewed with someone at HR and then interviewed with my soon to be boss. Everyone was kind a lovely, but the process did take a bit of time, in my opinion. It was about a month between when I applied and when I heard about the first round of the interview process.
phone interview, she wanted someone to multi task the entire shift. Department head wanted to form the new employee her way and not use someone from another department. Seemed overly competitive.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Macy's (New York, NY) en nov. 2018
Entretien
Small nonprofits offer a better candidate experience than Macy's does. I had one phone screening and one in-person interview. I had to follow up after each round, in addition to a thank-you email. I also had to follow-up a month after my second interview, only to be sent a generic, two-line rejection email. I was kept completely in the dark throughout the entire process.
With such a tight job market, one would think Macy's would improve their candidate experience.
