J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Macy's (Philadelphia, PA) en mai 2017
Entretien
I was between jobs and needed something part time. Walked by the Center City Macy's to see they were holding a hiring event. Went upstairs and was told they were out of paper applications so I could wait for a computer or apply on my phone. Did so on my phone. Took about 20 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes for an interview. I was interviewed by a manager who asked basic questions for about 10 minutes. She remarked that they probably had a position for me but she had to check the requisition sheet. Returning about 5 minutes later she offered me a job for $9/hr in the stock room. I responded that rate was pretty low for that type of work and asked for $10.50/hr. She was puzzled and left to "go check with someone" about that rate. A few minutes later another manager came in and asked me a few more questions. After answering, she said they had an "assistant supervisor/lead" position open (I have previous retail supervisor experience) that was at $11/hr. Even though other similar stores were hiring around $12-14/hr I decided not to push my luck and took the job.

In person interview was not challenging. It was a hiring day. They did the bait and switch. The job I applied for had "limited spots". They tried to offer me another position I wasn't interested in until they offered the supervisor position.
