Applied online and was giving the option of scheduling my own interview from the time slots available. The interview was about a week later, I showed up 15 minutes early and they had me sit and wait. The atmosphere and employees seemed friendly and welcoming. Everybody was wearing black business attire so I would suggest something similar for the interview. The interview was 1:1 and consisted of about 10 or so questions. The interviewer was relaxed but still professional.
Why do you want to work at Macy's?
Have you had any sales experience?
If a customer came up to you and asked where she could find jeans how would you help her?
How would you get the same customer to purchase more than just the jeans that she came in for?
Part of the Sales Associate's job is to get customers to sign up for a line of credit with the store, how would you sell a customer on this?
How would you approach a customer to get them to sign up for a line of credit?
If you saw a customer stealing, what would you do?

Answer first question starting with One recorded video and then followed up with multiple recorded responses to additional questions. Pretty simple and straightforward. Dress up on the top and wear whatever on the bottom.
Was an easy phone interview that only took a couple of minutes. I was only asked maybe 3 questions at most. Questions were sales experience, job history, and what I can work
