Entretien
I'm an out of state applicant, so it was conducted completed over the phone. The first call was a short introductory call. The next interview, three current employees in similar to positions to the one I was applying to called me. I talked to each for about 10 minutes. They were not hard interviews with typical interview questions. The last day of interviewing was the hardest because of the volume of interviews over the course of 1.5 hours. It started with 2 role play exercises. I was asked to handle "customer" concerns. One scenario involved a customer who kept having his ride cancelled. The hardest part of these was not knowing Lyft policy, but they understand that. Finally, I talked to three people who would be my direct supervisors. I was being considered for more than one position which is why I talked to three supervisors. Three days later I received a call with a job offer. Everyone was great and super friendly! The questions weren't terrible, but there were definitely a few unique ones.

Very effective! Painless and informational. The atmosphere is very welcoming! When I walked in, I was greeted by several people and offered a bottle of water during my wait. Interview started on time and interviewing staff were a breath of fresh air.

Entretien
The interview process was very informative and helpful in establishing an understanding of how Lyft started, and what Lyft is trying to do in terms of its business model and goals. It started with a background on Lyft, leading into a series of grouped interviews - challenging the interviewee to think on their feet. Overall, after the interview process is well planned out and gives you a good practice for the field you are about to enter.

A Lyft recruiter specialist reached out to me within the week of me applying. She was nice, informative, and responsive. My interview took a little over an hour. I had 3 different interview phases, the first being with two individuals, and the second and third being with just one person. I was offered a job within that week!
