I applied online, and followed up with the front desk at the club. They gave me the name and phone number of the hiring manager, and told me to call or stop by the club. I dropped of my resume with the hiring manager and was called a few days later for a one on one interview. It was very by the book, and all the questions were scripted to see how you would deal with customer service issues. Also talked about pervious experience and why I wanted to work for a healthy way of life company. After it was over, the manager say I made it to the next step, which was another one on one interview, with the general manager. I was called a few days later to set up an interview and was given two statements to memorize and dicuss. This interview was much more laid back, and after 20 minutes talking about the company and the role of the job, I was offered a condtional job based on a background check. This check took about a week and a half to come back, and was offered the postion. This was a long process for an entry level postion.

      Entretien

I applied for a position as a Team Member in Member Services. I had a total of 3 interviews - 1 with the Member Services Manager, 1 with the Member Services Assistant Manager, and 1 with the General Manager of the club. Each interview was 1-1. I wasn't shocked by any of the questions they asked. Most were normal questions focusing on my skills, schedule, and why I wanted to work at Life Time. The interviews were very repetitive, but thankfully seemed more geared to see if you would take the job position seriously. During my initial interviews, I was told that the General Manager would ask me to recite the company's mission & vision statement from memory. When I interviewed with him, this was the case. While my interviews were all 1-1, I found that most other employees at my club had group interviews to begin, with a follow up interview with the General Manager. Being that this was almost a minimum wage job ($10/hour), I was shocked at how many interviews I had to go through. In my opinion, this job wasn't anything special, but was still better than working in the food industry. It will also you allow you to add more to your resume in terms of account management, etc.
